2008 Annual Member Meeting
We held our annual member meeting and winter board meeting at
Squaw Creek NWR on January 26.
Highlights of the day included:
Nancy Reicher was newly elected to our board of directors and
appointed Secretary. We are excited to have her drive and
enthusiam on the board.
We voted to renew our sponsorship of the Women in the
Outdoors workshop coming up the weekend of April 12, 2008.
We also approved helping support three interns for the refuge
this summer, including two that will be involved in visitor
education and outreach and one that will be involved in
biological studies.
Watch for more details on these and other projects in our upcoming
