More waterfowl will continue to fly in to Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge to enjoy the food and safety of our wetlands.

November
Bald Eagles migrate to Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge to seek out open water and wetlands . both of which also attract Snow Geese and waterfowl that are hunted by the Bald Eagle.

November 30: Eagle Days School Day

December
Bald Eagles are at their highest numbers. Snow geese and other waterfowl continue to take refuge in our wetlands until they freeze over. If we're lucky, snow provides a beautiful backdrop to all the wildlife at Squaw Creek National Wildlife Refuge.
